Driver sought in fatal shooting in Canton Township
Mark Hicks
The Detroit News
Canton Township police are seeking tips to find a driver accused of opening fire Friday in a possible road rage incident that left one person dead.
Authorities described the suspect as a man last seen driving what was believed to be a gray 2013-2017 Chevrolet Equinox, last seen traveling north on Haggerty near Haggerty Circle.
A second vehicle possibly involved is a newer model white Ram pickup truck with black trim, also last seen northbound on Haggerty, police said.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Canton Police Department at (734) 394-5400.
So witnesses were able to get a pretty detailed description of both vehicles involved but not able to provide a description of the actual suspect except that it was a male? Or, was the suspects description intentionally not reported?
If the Canton Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding this individual, wouldn't a detailed description come in handy?

New York and Chicago were all in with respect to their sanctuary status — until they were hit with the challenge of actually providing sanctuary. In other words, typical liberal hypocrisy.

Well, it's possible due to a fleeing vehicle at what may of been a high rate of speed, ascertaining it was a male may of been the best witnesses could determine.

Did they just assume the gender?? Is that OK?
I suspect if you had enough of a view to assume the gender, there's a few more details that were obvious!!

I'm guessing the the suspect's skin color is what "is missing". That alone is not enough to be helpful in apprehending a suspect and can be counter productive.

It's not? Hmmm, eliminating a percentage of the population as a possible suspect isn't helpful? Why then include gender or the color of the vehicles?
Do you not think the police agencies in the area have this information? Why not the general public?
