WNIC Ratings Record

Post by ChrisWL1980 » Wed Jan 26, 2022 6:18 pm

A number of all-Christmas stations across the nation are posting all-time highs, and WNIC is one of them. Its 18.8 in the latest report is reportedly the highest recorded in the Detroit market in nearly 50 years! I would imagine WJR or possibly CKLW was the last station to record a rating that high.

Meanwhile WYCD got hit particularly hard by the Mariah-every-45-minutes juggernaut. I guess the Sam Hunt-loving soccer moms decided they liked the Carpenters better. Have they ever been lower than a 2.4 since they went Country in 1993?

Interesting ratings.

WLLZ at their lowest level in quite a while.
Alt 98.7 actually went up in ratings.
Country 93.1 also at its lowest level ever. Just shoot that dead horse and put it out of its misery
