WWJ 950 EAS FAIL!

Post by MWmetalhead » Thu Jan 20, 2022 11:21 am

For what it's worth, the test to have occurred at 11:20a this morning was loaded with dead air.

What a mess!!!

Looks like Cume-u-Less owned WJR was originator of the test.

A do-over just occurred.

WCXI, a station filled with dead air, empty stop-sets, and network tones, caught both, believe it or not.

I’m sure it sounded very loud on WCXI’s overproduced sound.

Walked into the room my wife was watching TV and it had a 'silent' EAS and it buzzed once at the tail end. I think the channel was 4
