That's too bad, he's a good guy. Congratulations to SG. Anyone know when Bernie is retiring? He's still doing shticks from the 90's.

Steve Garagola seems like a great guy and I liked him a lot! I grew up watching him hold down sports and news anchor duties, and his dad Joe before him. I will miss him!

Good for him! Always did a good job. I remember when he use to have a radio show on CKLW in the early 90s.

SG was always ultra professional, easy to work with and fun to be around. He should be the model when local TV news does a sports segment, not that thing that Bernie does from a time before the internet.

I know it won't happen, but I'd love if Steve went to 97.1 and picked up a weekend shift just to bring a new voice to the station.
