Paul rarely, if ever, fails at anything. He is a solid pro and a gifted photojournalist. And, if CBS funds this as it should be funded, it will be a great ride for PP and 62.
Absolute truth there. I was quite upset at MW's charaterization of PP as a "camera operator." The man needs a separate building to house all his well-earned Emmys won in different categories over the years!

Agreed! Like I told MW, CBS knows what they are doing. The fact that many are supporting Paul, all whom are professionals and have been in the business for many years, says a lot. Paul is more than qualified.

I swear you have to have a vested interest in this or someone involved in it…

Don’t be shocked if we receive some big time announcements in the next month or two as far as big time hires. I think Paul is moving really fast on this one. They already have job openings for MMJs.

I've been wondering the same thing Rate This has been pondering. As much as you have become the biggest cheerleader for 62's new endeavor.

What exactly makes you think that? What qualifies as a big time hire?

I wish them the best. I know a lot of folks would love to see a traditional "Bill Bonds" or "Mort Crim" type in the anchor chair along with a sneaky hot female co-anchor.
And please have some actual journalism!

Going to be interesting to see what happens with Eye on Detroit once the news department is up and running. I wonder if it’s just going to be a special program that airs every once in a while or will it turn into a weekly show, like Michigan Matters. Nonetheless, I can’t see it airing during CBS Mornings anymore.

Why not?

Apparently, they hired an Assistant News Director and have made other big hires. Now, they are focusing on hiring Anchors and MMJs.

I wonder if CBS62 hired Sinklair that worked at 25/66 in Flint? Where he bashed Sinclair 24/7 in the Flint forum before he was let go from 25/66.
