9/11 Media Remembrances

Post by Bobbert » Sat Sep 11, 2021 11:43 am

I picked up the Wall Street Journal this morning and found myself focusing on the stories about how we've avoided another 9/11 attack, and how we might avoid them in the future.

I avoided the remembrance stories about the day. I know that many people are interested in such stories, but for me, it's just too much, especially with all the COVID-19 grief and the botched withdrawal from Afghanistan.

I am thinking about what all the public safety people did that day. I wish they had made 9/11 Public Safety Workers Day instead of Patriot Day.

BOBBERT:

It can be both. Public Safety workers are patriots.
