NBA finals in Spanish?

Post by paul8539 » Wed Jul 14, 2021 11:24 pm

On Wednesday, July 14, I tuned into WXYZ-TV7 for the NBA finals. The audio was in Spanish. The closed caption was in English.

Anybody else hearing this in Spanish?

It’s the SAP. Check your TV. If you’re watching on cable and you’ve checked your TV settings, call your provider.

Maybe his mylife profile says that his ethnicity is Hispanic, so they auto set it to the Spanish setting from the central office.

Later, on another channel, 2 Broke Girls was also in Spanish with English closed captions. It later cleared up. Didn't change any settings.

I have a Phillips digital converter hooked to an older analog TV set.
