Does anyone know what happened to Veronica Meadows? Have not seen her on TV for a while. Also, she is not listed on the website as a employee.

She made a relatively steady progression from Traverse City/Cadillac to the Saginaw/Bay City market, before heading to Fox2News.

I believe she got married recently, she has a FB post about a Fox2 story just this past Tuesday.

I believe she was just freelance. She's married to Simon Shaykhet who is no longer on the WXYZ website.

Just saw her yesterday doing a report, so I don't think she's gone.

I can't believe she'd just be freelancing with Fox2. Seems like for a while she was doing all the reporting from the field.

Veronica is indeed married to Simon Shaykhet and is a per-diem reporter at Fox 2. Because she is per-diem she has no set shift and plugs holes in the schedule where needed and is capped at the number of days a year she can work. Fox 2 is getting all they can out of her and she is well liked by newsroom management. I would love to hear her get a full time contract, she deserves it.

I agree. For as much as she was working in the last few months I would have bet she was more than full-time. Seems like for a while she was working 24x7 there.
