Re: March 2021 Radio Ratings
The alternative station that plays rap and pop has a 1.9 share, being beaten by not one but TWO public radio stations. These guys suck!

A 1.9! Things are looking up! lol. Wheelz is holding it's own, the best performance for that signal since The W4 days.Mega Hertz wrote: ↑Wed Apr 21, 2021 8:49 pmThe alternative station that plays rap and pop has a 1.9 share, being beaten by not one but TWO public radio stations. These guys suck!

I'm curious as to why WDMK is listed twice. Is it one of the translators?

What's up with WNIC?
I never listen, but I flipped it on in the car and it is actually listenable!
Celine Dion, followed by Matthew Wilder, Leann Rimes, and then George Michael.
It's like the 90s again

At the same time they're playing a lot more in the way of "955" current/recurrent music. Surf Mesa "ILY," Tate McRae "You Broke Me First" and, worst of all, Chris Brown "Go Crazy" have all been added over the past few weeks. Meanwhile Usher "Yeah!" is in gold rotation. At the same time they're playing old Breeze staples like Celine Dion.stopnswop2 wrote: ↑Wed Apr 28, 2021 5:06 pmWhat's up with WNIC?

It appears they're going for a sound similar to their sister station 106.7 Lite FM in NYC, which plays a fair amount of rhythmic AC material. (And it obviously works, since they're #1 there.) But I do wish they sounded more like Chicago's Lite instead, which actually IS "lite."
Speaking of Praise Network, I've noticed it's also being carried by WMGC-HD2 now.
