I like the fact this station has a hometown vibe... local news on the hour. This sounds WAY better than WUPS up here in the north.

They must be returning to their previous classic rock lean. For a while they were sounding virtually identical to WOMC, complete with the same five or so Madonna songs you can hear on about a dozen other area stations.

Regardless of the music, they're one of the best when it comes to community service. I live in Whitmore Lake and WHMI is the first radio station I tune when there's a tornado warning.
