Way back when...News used to be 1/2 hr of Local and 1/2 hr National. That's it! Just enough time to provide enough of what was needed to know. Today, it's 24hrs. and there can't possibly be that amount of vetted news to relay. As a result, opinion and editorializing took over with lies and misguided emotion. I could easily deal with 1 hr of news. It's the 23 hrs of BS that comes with it that I cannot deal with.
Shameful really. Broadcast journalism used to be a much more honest profession.

Walter Cronkite, “the most trusted man in America”, was a partisan democrat who was personal chums with democrat politicians. WXYZ just hasn’t been the same in the past few years. When they started letting good people go about 10 years ago, the station just went downhill. Ch 7 needs new leadership, starting with its owner. Scripps has slowly ruined this station. Wouldn’t mind ABC taking back ownership and fixing this train wreck.
