Saw him too. Sounds like a nice guy. I was wondering too if we're going to lose someone... perhaps Lori or Jill?

Saw him again this weekend, looks like he's being groomed for an anchor job, anything to get Charlie out of there would be good.

This guy interned at ch 50/62 way way back. Whatever he worked on, he did it with a ton of enthusiasm and smarts. He's a friendly, talented guy that made many friends.

I hope Charlie retires. His voice is grating. But the one I really want off the screen is Ryan Ermani. He must be related to someone for them to keep him around. I am sure he is a nice guy in real life. He does not have a stage presence or voice for TV, I have said before Ryan is alright for the third or fourth spot for sports . I have to turn off Fox 2 in the morning when Ryan or Charlie on. Their voices are like roofing nails sliding down a cheese grater. Plus the yelling, omg. I hope the new guy fills their spot.

Just watched him. Not a full on lisp, but an odd vocal on a lot of s and th sounds. Lots of blinking. Little rushed on pacing and good gestures.

Unless they really needed a black weather person for marketing, he is not an improvement on that they already had.

I'm with you on this... He's OK, but nothing that raises the bar. Did we find out he is really not replacing someone existing?

Looks like 2 will be carrying 6 weather persons, I didn't think we had that much weather around here.

Is it possible they're trying to transition Jill Washburn into more feature type bits?

No. They finally filled Jessica Starr’s full time slot with the new guy. The part timers will remain on a fill-in basis

It appears as if Jill Washburn has been relegated to doing just Jill of all Trades segments.

I thought she did a fine job of doing the weather. I'm not sure why they felt the need to go out of house to fill a spot that didn't need to be filled.

No offense to the new guy but her departure probably sends me packing.

Not a fan of the new weather guy. Comes across as a hack who's there for his looks as opposed to his knowledge of meteorology.

He’s just another weather person getting paid the big bucks to be wrong. I’m in the wrong business.
