Should've stuck with my original prediction for today!!!

All the dopes on TV got it wrong, too. Andrew was more inaccurate than me, calling for a high of 67 (LMAO) and rain holding off until 4PM or later. He really is a hack!!!

Stiff east wind off the cold lakes and rivers, on and off rain all day, and yet some of our beloved weather forecasting morons on TV are *still* forecasting mid to upper 60s for Detroit today.

Holy shit are they clueless.

Yesterday’s high... 59.

So far today it’s 58.

NWS is looking for 66 today, 67 tomorrow and 64 on Wednesday.

Trademark characteristic of upper level lows: little spread between daily highs and lows. Even with so much daylight this time of year, the spread can be as little as 5 or 6 degrees.

I think we might hit 61 or 62 as the storm center moves very close to us, but that would come very late in the day or early evening.

Many areas will be stuck in the upper 50s to 60 today for daytime highs, I suspect.

For today, the Weather Channel is the worst offender, forecasting 69 degrees.

Kevin Jeanes is nearly as bad, forecasting 67.

Not...gonna...happen. My prediction is low 60s for most of Metro Detroit.

NWS is hanging it’s hat on 64...

Last night, no less than 3 stations were calling for some sunshine today... 2, 4 and WWJ. I did not see 7.

Yup. The TV guys in the bottom couple of innings (and The Weather Channel) pulled out an upset victory. Hey - I'll gladly accept defeat for today. I was happy to see some sun and comfortable temps for a change. Beginning around 2:30p here, the clouds very slowly started to let more daylight thru, and by 4:30p, I was seeing partly sunny skies.

Areas close to the state line couldn't escape the clouds and in some cases didn't even reach 60 degrees! Monroe and Lenawee Counties got screwed! Also some wacky stuff up north: Flint Bishop reached 71 officially, whereas MBS only reached 60!

Pretty darn close to what I was going to say. :)

I was going to say a mix of sun and clouds and 65 for the high.

Big temps and sky conditions spread today.

Lansing is sunny and 72. Metro is partly sunny and 65. Toledo is cloudy, dreary, and only 59!
