Did a rescan and got em. Aren't they a little late to the party.

Right now, WADL is the last Detroit TV station above RF 36.

Are they advertising a date when they'll turn off 39?

Actually, they're early. They were moved from phase 8 (which ended March 13) to phase 9 (which ends May 1)

Only one left is WUDT Daystar to go to rf8.

Allowing some of us to receive WNWO Toledo rf23.

No lock for me. WADL has been a dud since they went digital.

Pretty much a literal No Show in NW Det. Had a decent signal on RF39, just stutter and tiling on 27. This with an 8-bay screen array aimed at them.
(edit) OK on a couple of other sets w different antennas, Still NG on main set/antenna.
Might have to try re-aiming again, maybe replace lead-in coax.
Low priority as 38-1 is also available on cable, none of the OTA WADL subs have any appeal.

Although you said it's low priority, I'd like to ask if you're using a pre amp, what antenna you're using, and what kind of coax (RG6 or RG59) you're using. Make sure the preamp is getting power and that the antenna is aimed at the tri-point where Clinton Twp., St. Clair Shores, and Fraser meet.

It's coming in fine using a Clearstream 2Max in Melvindale indoors.

Not using a preamp, though I've tried using it. I'm somewhat close-in to WDIV, WXYZ, WWJ, WMYD, WTVS (& WHNE), so preamp provides way too much signal from the full-power stations, which causes its own set of problems. Antenna is XtremeSignal HDB8x screen 2x 4-bays with a hinged center, so one panel aimed toward Southfield, the other fairly accurately toward Clinton Twp., each panel supposedly has a 60˚ lobe so there's a bit of overlap. Using. Coax=RG6 approx 35 ft. Also combined into the array is a simple VHF dipole, for WJBK and CBET, which conveniently are approx 180˚ opposite each other. Hoping it will suffice for WHNE.

Good signal for me in the 14 Mile & Woodward area - about 27 dBu. That's good enough to light about 80% of the bars on the 'ole signal strength meter.

On 38.1, I usually received about a 25 dBu signal.

Still no sign of WUDL when I run scans using my cheap $10 short rabbit ears / loop combo. I'll try with the flat panel antenna later in the week.

I'm copying WUDL gangbusters, while still no go (at least with this antenna) with WADL.

I’m near 14 mile and Woodward too and no WUDL...
