I'm okay with the graphics. Not the best, but not the worst. The music, however, makes me want to jam pencils in my ears. The old music was just fine.

take this job and shove it

Ah, yes. I remember the flying swooshes. Those annoyed the heck out of me, too! Tarnished what would've otherwise been a great visual package.

WXYZ just seems to be a revolving door of on air people I can't keep track of. The mornings not so bad, they were worse last year. About the only thing I look at is their weather forecasting. Their general reporters have the same droning style, no personality. Whatever graphics WXYZ switches to won't make much difference.

I do like elements of this a lot. But it's the simpler elements. The basic, white 7 logo that appears between cuts of what's coming up on the newscast, etc. The little bubbles that seem like text messages are a bit overdone.

The new graphics appeared this morning and I must say they look pretty good. Easy on the eyes, the scroll at the bottom is smooth..... Even “Big Headed" Ali Hoxie’s traffic graphics looked good.

The package in the morning does look pretty darn good, with the exception of the info bar at the very bottom of the screen. The weather forecast icons are obscured by the white background. Some black outlining of the icons would quickly fix that issue.

The only thing I don’t like is the bug... it needs a background. Action News under the taken names would be nice too... there’s room all over that enormous lower 3rd for social media handles AND Action News.

Sister station WEWS just debuted theirs today. WRTV in Indianapolis is rumored to debute theirs very shortly. The more I see these graphics, the more I like it.

The new graphics package is growing on me, too.

I do like how the ABC logo is seamlessly incorporated into the Circle 7 logo , and I love the full screen segues.

The weather graphics also look crisp.

What don't I like? The side bars that appear when the anchor is on screen. Those look unrefined. The bug needs black outlining as do the weather forecast icons that appear in the info bar during the morning newscast.

The WXYZ logo bug for the newscasts are now bigger. I think circle 7 heard the complaints and made the logo bigger, and easier to see. The graphics are getting better and better. The ABC bug is also a lot easier to see. The 7 abc logo is looking great with the news promotions as well.

Patiently waiting for WXMI to finally go to the Scripps graphics.
