It’s interesting how the local stations, with the current crisis going on, realize that voice tracking doesn’t always cut it, as evidenced by instances like Kim Adams doing a long shift on 98.7 yesterday. Guess that the VT’d “Smokey Rivers” wasn’t going to work effectively, in case there was news to pass along to listeners.

I was wondering what happened when Kim was "signing-off" at the top of the 3 0'clock hour, when, all of a sudden, somebody started the 3pm ID, with Kim talking right over it. I reached my destination at that point, after the song came on, and didn't hear what happened next.
