I've been in Porn Hub all day, they have mentioned nothing about this "Pandemic"...refreshing....carry on.... :P :P :P :P
I confess to glancing at that too. The one scene with the full body suits got my attention first. Satire helps keep us sane.
There was a report where residents of Italy would be getting a free subscription to Porn Hub for the duration of the nationwide lockdown period (until April 3), as a way to "entertain" themselves while they were forced to stay home.
I thought you were joking but yes indeed it's true:

Part of the problem is this is a new virus. People can compare it to the flu, but it's worse. There is no vaccination and it spreads easily. Another issue is lack of communication and honesty from federal and local governments. It's fine to say a man who was at DTW on March 1 has tested positive, but my mom's husband was also at DTW March 1. Her husband flew in from New York (where there have been confirmed cases, before a case was confirmed in Michigan and now a reported death). Normally, probably not a H*** issue, but my mom is 75, has chronic asthma, has a compromised immune system, is getting over bronchitis and has 40% lung capacity (and is stubborn as a mule)
It would be really nice if the government would tell us where the man who was at the airport flew from. There's a chance (yes, a small chance) this man sat next to my mom's husband on the plane.
So, yes there is overhyping, but there are people who are concerned for their family members.

Every element of this, is to avoid overwhelming the hospitals. If we later find that the reaction was overzealous, so be it.

Doctors in Italy are making decisions on who lives and dies. Half the people in ICU in The Netherlands are under 50. The mortality rate on this might be only 2%, but the rate of people who enter into the ICU is approaching 9%, a figure that will most assuredly require doctors in the US to make the same decision as their peers in Italy.

12 more cases in Michigan bringing us to 45... Whitmer is asking for a federal disaster declaration.

I thought there was already a "National Emercency Declaration" from Thump

I think there’s a difference between the two... I’m sure it’s funding related...

Gretchen Whitmer is psycho. Closing down the Detroit Zoo? That’s taking it way too far imo.

My wife works at U of M Hospital and trust me... they're not in a good place. They were already running out of protective gear like masks. They are preparing to be swarmed by patients, because this definitely hasn't peaked. Plus, just think about what happens, if, say, there's a massive spread through about 4 senior homes in the Ann Arbor area at the same time. That's already a ton of people. It's been very hard for them and only getting harder.

New ownership would be an excellent start! It's a damn shame what Cumeless has done to the one Great Voice of the Great Lakes.
