Stephen Clark out at 104.3
Stephen Clark out at 104.3
Wow - that was a quick exit - on a Tuesday? Stephen is off to the next stage in his career. He’s already off the WOMC website.
Wondering who is the heir apparent...JJ?
Hoping that Pam Rossi gets a bigger role with the station.

Re: Stephen Clark out at 104.3
I highly doubt that JJ is interested in getting up at 4-4:30am to do morning radio again. He doesn't mind filling-in on mornings once in a while, but he's not interested in doing mornings permanently. Best move would be for Tim to pair Beau Daniels with Joanne ( "Beau & Jo in the Morning"), then hire Anne Carlini (formerly of WRIF) for afternoon drive. I believe these would be a couple successful moves!

It's going to be Jason and Joanne for now.
Jason (of 99.5 fame) began taking a more prominent role on that show last year. That daypart did start sounding a lot more cohesive and fun after he came aboard.

What are Kevin O'Niell and Chris Edmonds up to these days? Is Kevin still with Cumuless and on WJR?

Detroit never brings in new talent, just recycles the air talent already in the market.

Now that's not fair. You left out that they have to or have been on TV and/or work for a newspaper.whitebalance wrote: ↑Wed Mar 11, 2020 6:47 pmDetroit never brings in new talent, just recycles the air talent already in the market.

Looks like JJ is going to take over mornings with Joanne and Jason starting Monday.

Looks like 104.3 is eliminating the midday airshift. Johnson will cover 10a to Noon solo. I'm guessing Beau will now start at Noon.

That feels like the next step in a decline...MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sat Mar 14, 2020 11:07 amLooks like 104.3 is eliminating the midday airshift. Johnson will cover 10a to Noon solo. I'm guessing Beau will now start at Noon.
