WLLZ isn't going to change, WIDL is where it's at

Post by bobhuge » Fri Jan 31, 2020 6:16 am

Sorry, cheap plug, but I gotta figure out a way to help those on here that are complaining about WLLZ and not getting results. Your bitching here isn't going to change them. They're iFart. Corporate rules, man.

WIDL...sure it doesn't come in where you live, but you can stream on the Android App (WIDL) or on a desktop or idevice at rdo.to/WIDL.

Check it out this morning, I think you're going to like it. ;)

Tuned in for a few songs. In order:
Anthrax w/Pubic Enemy - Bring the Noise
Silverchair - Tomorrow
Stone Temple Pilots - Gasoline
Robert Plant - Big Love
Black Sabbath - Fairies Wear Boots

I had to make sure they weren't streaming from my personal media collection. :)

If this station were reachable in my car, I'd have it as preset #1.

Yes...love the playlist but data is too expensive for my phone.

Great job though....!!!!

Here's a couple to add to your rotation for WLLZ @ WIDL

707--I could be good for you

Shooting Star--last chance

Try BBC Radio 6, Radio Caroline or Radio Paradise if you are streaming at home from your modem.

Anyway that you could convince your owners to simulcast I-92 on your sister station Thunder Rock 100.7 out of Oscoda?

It would be absolutely awesome to be able to share our music product, that's for sure. That would have to be something discussed at a higher pay grade than mine. LOL.

I really wish you would, with lots of juice to Livingston County. That music sweep...wow. Not a channel changer on that list.

Thanks for the tip. I LOVE that theres a station out there like that. I wish we had some PD's with some balls to challenge the corporate mandates.

It took a bit to convince them, but the listener comments helped a ton.

Yeah, it would be great if more stations just cared more about the music, but research numbers tell them they shouldn't. :( I wish I had the resource to really dig into their research. I'm sure a lot of it leans toward office or business comfort in what is being played on the overhead.

...or fix your current one. Your signal is still utter crap up here in Tawas City, even though for a short time after your last tower move it was VERY good here.
