Radio ceases to be great when the corporate suits treat their stations like McDonald's.

The scary thing is - the on-air moves seem minor compared to the moves Beasley recently made.

The names let go by iFart aren't exactly household names or long term market veterans.

But they're still people trying to earn a living in a corporate industry where live talent and local people are becoming more and more obsolete.

Anne is out?! That's dumb! I rarely was awake to hear her shift but know she had a great social media presence for the station.

Yet Casey uh kept his uh job at 106uhpoint7 WLLuhZ. And is probably still PD. Christ Almighty. Who does he have pictures of???

iheart Detroit's Paul Corvino has drank ALL the Kool Aid, and essentially disparages local talent.

Former CKLW DJ, Big Jim Edwards, did a tribute broadcast to iHeart employees, ironically on shortwave at 5085 kHz. You can listen to Boss Radio 8pm-Midnight.

Corvino is buddies with Bob Pittman, that's why he was brought to Detroit and they moved Nick Gnau out. Nick was loved by everyone at the station whereas Corvino is just a douchebag so much so that the national sales team has been told to keep him away from their clients.

Why does everyone care when radio hosts lose their jobs, but no one cares about other careers? With retail careers, they just laugh and say, "I use Amazon. LOL! If they wanted a stable career, they should've gone to college! Losers!" "IT people? They should've known that Indians would take their job! Jagoffs." "Shopworkers? Duh. Hello? Robots!"

The correct answer to what may be the dumbest question ever asked on a TV and Radio message board.

My question is related to newsprint, social media and media general acting so sorry for them. It's not like no one saw this coming. Who would've thought people would be having weekly groceries shipped to them, closing grocery stores everywhere.

I noticed Anne Erickson (spelling?) wasn't doing her normal overnight shift on Fake Wheels last night.
I work third shift and this is disappointing as fuck. When I found out, I uninstalled the iHeartRadio app on my phone.

Too disgusted with WLLZ and iHeartRadio anymore ... Hope she lands on her feet somewhere soon!
