I truly think he's done now. From reading the reports of last week's show on here, him trashing WPON (Again) and picking fights with both Matt and the other guy helping, there was no way that they would allow him back on that station. Not to mention the fact that the station probably doesn't want anyone in their studio at this time. He's gone for good.
Well if last week was his last hurrah, he certainly left us with an unforgettable show----- forgettable for Ronny tho. :rollin

Without advertising support there’s no show.
This, I think, is the main reason Ron isn’t on anymore. He just can’t pony up the green to get on the radio. His surliness never stopped him from getting on the air. I’m sure even the South Lyon Hotel and Ram’s Horn in Southfield weren’t advertising these last few weeks.

I'll believe it when I see it. To paraphrase Charlton Heston, Ronnie won't quit until they tear the microphone from his cold, dead hands.

I'm sure once this all clears up and he can add a new restaurant and car repair place he'll be back.

A shame since, with Al Kaline’s passing, we’d learn that (A) Ron was Al’s best friend at the end of his life, (B) Ron was one of the few people Al recognized in the end, or (C) Ron was the last person Al spoke to before he died.

Definitely. Ron had him lined up on the show as a guest as they talked weekly and he was one of the few people Al trusted.

I remember on one of the train wrecks, Ron said he moved out of his motel because of some kind of issue with Fox Sports Detroit and had motels calling him to have him as a guest. Did he ever mention moving in anywhere? I bet he moved back to that old place that was I believe in Allen Park. I wonder what he's doing now that he can't go to Ram's horn or any other restaurant and no sports on tv.

Once this is over he'll end up back on the air. He was on the air days after brain surgery so nothing short of the lack of money can slow this guy down.

What chance do you give him of ever being a finalist? I think since it hasn't happened by now it never will.

Where's Ron when you need him? Nothing beats Friday morning entertainment during a pandemic.

Ron's out beating the path looking for advertisers.

Matt needs to bring Ron to the internet so he doesn't have to worry about paying for airtime but then he would likely reduce his listening base by 95%

Has Ron, in his absence from the airwaves, strangely and unknowingly, ascended to a sort of pandemic “comfort food”?!?! With all the layoffs and work stoppages, I’ve noticed many podcasters have continued producing content for their listeners, giving people a break from all the strangeness in the world today. Ron is obviously a MUCH different case, when it’s lights out, it’s LIGHTS OUT.
