Hope this isn't a rude question, but have any of the regular commenters on this thread ever called in to the show?Mr.Transistor wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 12:57 pmRon needs to start cutting his calls short, unfortunately nobody is calling in.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through March 30 at 9:00a ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Re: Ron Cameron
Some years ago, I would call irregularly. Until Ron banned me. Yes, this man who begs for callers actually said on air that I was banned from the show. After keeping a suitable distance for a while, I resumed my infrequent calling. There were, as before, many civil conversations where Ron, oblivious to our checkered history, would even compliment me as a good caller. Eventually, though, I got banned again. Fearing the consequences of yet a third strike, I decided that was it for my on-air career. Word of warning. When Ron drops the “fella” hammer on you, you’re in for a world of trouble.

Thanks for the answer. I called regularly in the late 1990s, but lately I've been more comfortable sending in e-mails. Unfortunately, the e-mails are often misunderstood or used as a launching board for something different, so I might try calling in again sometime.Momo wrote: ↑Fri Aug 14, 2020 8:32 pmSome years ago, I would call irregularly. I've always enjoyed Ken from Livonia. He had a straightforward style and a lot of good questions and comments.
Re: Ron Cameron
I forgot about Ken, the "real quick" guy. Along with JJ, he's among the missing. Am I forgetting anyone else not already accounted for (like Cowboy)?

So Denny won’t be on until about 3:10? Will he make it then? Will he then cut short his time, too? Will Beth email & ask about his wife?

This is another debacle.
Why did Mark from Warren say he's going to use another phone, its a toll call? What is this? 1972

Typical Ron... Just going after Cabrera over and over. Denny finally had enough and told him to move on.

Right, a career film-flam man. And Ron’s the one to call others homers, the way he treats a caller, like Sparty, who deigns to call out a guest.
