Now, Ron did actually call his guest Ike Brown.

Went to Ike’s webpage last night and there are some articles on what happened between him and Billy Martin, while Ike did acknowledge the issue with Ron, as Ron the consummate professional kept pushing it.

After reading the article and seeing what the nature of the issue was I can see why Ike didn’t want to keep talking about it and R sizzle just had to keep pushing his fight with Billy Martin

That appears to be Rons closing line with his guests

Not one reference in three hours to Ron's purported new fall schedule. Very much unlike Ron. Luke, Alex, am I reading too much into this?

I am thinking he was so laser focused on the gold mine of “numbers” from Ike, that he lost focus on other areas

I haven't heard that plans have changed. I know he's been on the hunt for more numbers trying to get more guests.

Thanks. Alex. I guess it's true, then, that Ron was so obsessed with pumping Ike Blessitt for new numbers to bother with his usual housekeeping matters.

Podcast of yesterday’s show up. One block of 2 hours 51 minutes. Thanks to whom it may concern!

After listening to the Sunday podcast, Ike Blessitt seems like a good dude, of course. He’s obviously had some ups and downs in life, but harbors none of Ron Cameron’s nasty bitterness. Ron’s hatred of so many people and blind devotion to others can sometimes get to be too much to listeners (and guests).

Ron was talking this past Sunday about umpiring the Tigers/Reds exhibition games in the late '70s. Here's one story he didn't tell.

(Detroit Free Press, 4/25/79)

(I met Doug Cossey when he was working for the South Lyon school system. He told me a story about Kirk Gibson cussing out some kid in Grosse Pointe when Gibson was jogging and this kid asked Gibson for his autograph.)

Ron also worked in a hospital?
From Neal Rubin's always helpful Free Press article from 1/26/90:

Hard to imagine Ron doing anything for free.

Ron was really pushing the Billy Martin fight, would not leave it alone. Ike addressed it, but you can tell from what Ike was saying he did want to keep talking about it.

Ron almost sounded giddy just wanting to keep discussing it. As I mentioned before, reading the article that talks about the billy Martin fight on Ike’s webpage, I can tell why he did not want to keep bringing it up
