Terry: Well, Ron, your constant mention of my two strokes helped inspire my retirement hobbies. When I play golf, I always try for two strokes on the putting green. I bought a dirt bike with a nice little two stroke engine. When I go canoeing, it usually takes me two strokes of the paddle to get going. I listened to the third hour of Sunday's show twice, mainly to hear Rich Kincaide's horror stories about his time at WJR. Rich seemed to be following in the footsteps of some of his Red Wings interviewees, by being more truthful and open as he gets older.

Yes! Ron definitely doesn’t play second banana on his own show. It’s why whenever he has a guest & takes a call, it’s always, “You’re on with Ron &” fill-in guest’s name. Lacking in social graces, it would never occur to Ron to put his guest’s name first. To avoid any further such insult to his legendary status, I’m expecting Ron to launch “Ron Cameron’s Sports Talk” on this week’s spectacular.
