I've gotta ask:
Why does Ron have so much antipathy toward Dan Dickerson?
With the personal being everything for Ron, I have to believe it's that Dickerson has failed to kiss the ring of The Great One.

Part of the reason is he feels he has “no guts” as Ron says for all of the broadcast crew, they don’t tell it like it is
Correct me if I am wrong here, but aren’t the broadcasters employees of the teams? Doesn’t this nimrod realize that employees that publicly badmouth their companies product, no matter what kind of business, soon find themselves unemployed. The broadcasters job is to describe what is happening in the game. It is not that hard to understand.
Yep, but in Ron’s world, there is no room for being positive at all for sports teams=No guts

As well on another topic, Ron also gives the very important medical update on all broadcast staff across the various platforms

When Jim Price was a more active part of the broadcasts, Ron was constantly criticizing their small talk, laughing, etc. He also didn't like the way Dickerson described some plays. This probably led to the general animosity that Cameron now has against Dickerson, who Ron sees as part of the "conspiracy" not to say anything bad about Miguel Cabrera. Dickerson is also a public face for a Tigers organization that apparently has rejected Ron's presence in the pressbox.

It would be of interest to know when Ron lost his press privileges, because he's been making his relentless, over-the-top, attacks on Dickerson, e.g., "laughing like an hyena," for as long as I've been a listener.

Sounds to me he's jealous of Dickerson.

I don't like a few of the aspects of Dickerson's work, but to call him "Dickhead" is way over the top.

Dickerson is no more team friendly than George Blaha, and Ronnie Boy seems to like Blaha.

Ron doesn't have one jealous bone in his body. He has too many to count.

An interesting irony with Ron is that he detests Donald Trump, but shares many characteristics with him—pettiness, petulance, name-calling, self-centered, egotistical, short-tempered, bombastic, prone to outbursts, on and on.

Combero hit a double in today's game. Guess who stranded him?

Ron claims he was offered the Tigers PR job but turned it down because it was a pay cut. Yeah, sure

I always find it interesting when he tells that story about tuning professional jobs due to income

We all have our own way of living style and what we consider important wise. I don’t see the comparison between brokered radio and potential jobs with major league teams, obviously I doubt they happened, but just makes you wonder, why would you say you are turning those kind of jobs down

But then again whatever his lifestyle is over these many years, brokered radio has kept him going finically I guess

Over/under on how long it will take Ron to turn the Jon Warden interview into "All About Ron". And that's if Jon shows up.

10 minutes.

Along with telling Jon his memories and such, most of which have absolutely nothing to do with him, Ernie will be brought up, leading Ron to his tirade on Shepard and "Dickhead" Dickerson having no guts and scared for their jobs. Expect a dose of Jake Rogers, Combero needs to be released, complaining about the shift, possibly even the DH.

Oh yeah, Scott Harris and the Tigers PR being horrible. No caravans or out of town busses.

Over the past few shows, that seems to be his open he comes in with a lot of energy bashing the tigers, providing medical updates for there announcers right out of the opening.

I am sure we will hear ten games under 500
By the end of the month, with there schedule you did not have to be Einstein to figure that out

Is Jon the guy who was pitching in some game in Florida or Arizona, and Ron decided to "surprise" him by running on the field during the game, leading to another "What are you doing here?" moment?
