On the subject of Ron's missing podcasts, talking to Ron might not get results, as he can be obdurate regarding the subject. I broached the subject once with him and he defiantly denied any problem.

Perhaps Ron didn't know the meaning of "mediocre," causing an unintended slight. (I'm not being facetious.)
You're forgetting that Ron "gra-jee-ated" - I think - from the 8th grade. In any event, Rich circled back enough times to his hurt feelings & Ron never used the "I didn't know the meaning" card.

I opened Martin's LinkedIn page and discovered that he has been working for WHMI since June.

With a 10 am-3 pm Saturday time slot, Martin, the radio pro, has the good sense not to compete against the ratings juggernaut that is Sports Talk with Ron Cameron, starring Ron Cameron.

Thanks for trying.

This seems to be Ron's attitude about podcasts, and a lot of other things.

I, as well, appreciate the effort.

Luke may be running inteference for Ron on the calls & emails, but we can probably thank his return presence behind the mic last weekend for the gift of the broadcasts showing up on the podcast page.

Ron and Windsor Dave are probably in a state of shock this morning after that home run last night by Miguel "Combero".

Every so often, Ron makes a casual comment that reveals a lot about him. This week, when Mr. Positive made his usual exhortation to "Go for Your Dreams," Rich Kincaid asked Ron what his dream was. Ron paused, and then said, "Keep doing a radio show. At my age, what else is there to do?"

For Ron, that's more of a fantasy than a dream.

"Dictonary.com will tell you the words “dream” and “fantasy” are interchangeable, but there is a distinct difference when it comes to pursuing them. A fantasy is a lopsided perception. A half-truth. A dream is a balanced perception."

Another show topic for Ron this weekend, looks like Blake Griffin signed a one year deal with the Celtics

I’m wondering what Kurt, the de facto showrunner, has up his sleeves now as a follow-up to his successful, years-long, all-letter MLB team. I was reading that, as a child, the Tigers’ new president, Scott Harris, would play a game with his brother to pass the time on long car rides. One brother would name a player & the other would have to respond with a player whose name began with the last letter of the previous name. Imagine all the fun Kurt & Ron could have with this.
