As someone who lives out his Ron Cameron experience through this page, and the rarest of online streaming searches, I am still compelled to ask, was there no place for Cory Lidle in "A Cameron Christmas Carol?"

A satisfying treatment, nonetheless.
Thanks. Cory almost made an appearance. In an early draft, I had him as the Ghost of Christmas Present, with a flying scene of course. But Ron's hurt reaction to Cowboy's mention of the anniversary of Lidle's death took some of the fun out of including Lidle in parodies.

Anyway, replacing Lidle with Billy Martin worked out better for the story.

Your magnum opus here, Bobbert!!! Now if only Ron devoted a fraction of your energy to his own show … Now that may be the biggest fantasy of all.
Bobbert, this is a Christmas Classic! I would recommend Mr. Positive as the narrator of this story. As Momo has stated, the amount of effort you have put into this should be commended. Much more effort than Ron's show prep where he just shows up with the Sunday sports page in hand.
Thanks. Mr. Positive would be a great narrator. He helped make the Christmas Morning section possible.

A fine job Bobbert!
Thanks. I was motivated to finish it after picking up a special issue of Mad magazine that satirizes Christmas.

Mr.Positive is the only person who could get Ron to listen to Bobbert's masterpiece.

Ron’s shows are like something out of a Mad mag satire on sports talk radio.

It’s everyone’s favorite day of the week for radio! Sportstalk with Ron C

Thoughts for tonight’s interview with ken Holland

Will Ron discuss with Ken how he is the favorite of the illitches

Will there be any questions about Jimmy Carson perhaps?

Will Ron ask what is ken Hollands greatest thrill

That, 30 second NFL score updates and much more tonight on Sportstalk!

Also, what illness has Ron's producer come down this week as part of the passive aggressive attempt by WDTK producers to avoid working with Ron?

There was also big news this week with Minnie Miñoso and Michigan's own Jim Kaat being elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Expect some more "older than Methuselah" stories about Minnie from Ron. And will Ron tell us about a bar, restaurant, or radio station that he almost bought in Jim Kaat's hometown of Zeeland, Michigan?

If Ron's both without a producer & a guest his third hour, can we expect him then to "find" more emails (from emailer names we've never heard before, each listing their hometown cities (because who doesn't include their cities when emailing?!)) leftover from during the week, all asking hardball questions like how many games does he think the Wings, Pistons & Tigers will win?

The last time Ron spoke about Jim Kaat, he was from "New" Zeeland.

Yes, the mad genius that is Ron. If he was trolling us, he surely would be unfamiliar with the word.

"Yeah, you're smart." If Ron had a nickel for every time he's been told that ...

Ron's doubling down on Jim Kaat being born in "New" Zeeland.

Bingo! Cowboy tried to correct him but that was more than Ron could handle.
