I didn't know - or forgot - that Ron was a Specs graduate.

Didn't he talk a lot about how Dick Kiernan kept telling him he needed to learn how to be a producer?

The caller pace in the tribute show is staggering, I know nothing of Jukebox Johnny but am glad to hear of his Specs Howard lineage.

I made many industry friends who went to Specs and came to Micro Markets, and much larger opportunities.

JJ's recent on-air mention of Bob Allison prompts memories of a TV ad that aired in Saginaw where B.A. referred to "his radio program," of which I knew nothing at that time. It seems fitting to note this during a Ron tribute show.

Did Ron correctly read the copy of Bo's death? And yes, Jukebox, we knew Ron broke the news. He mentioned it many times.

The reference to Jukebox as JJ reminds me of Trenton JJ. It would be nice to hear from him today. And Gutterball Tony, if he's not really dead.

Great analogy—Ron represented the fan in the cheap seats.

Gary from Tawas, who once reminisced on Ron's show about all the old Detroit burlesque houses.

The Tigers should give Ron a posthumous press pass in his honor.
