Wonder if they'll mention that the Tigers just won 6-5.
To the sad sack Sox.

The funny thing is - if WDTK would have him, y'all know damn well Ron would fly across the street and purchase airtime there in a heartbeat.

As many of us spend the day mourning fallen soldiers and having a cookout or traveling with family and friends, it would be interesting how Ron, who works 16 hours a day and never takes vacations, spends this day. He will probably forget what day it is and complain why many local businesses and potential advertisers are closed. Ram’s Horn should be open so he does have his morning breakfast, hopefully complete with the newspaper.

Friday should be interesting. I’m going to say 4 callers: Mr. Positive, Kurt, Keith (for Nick Libett if he shows) and either a Warren boy or a rando. Speaking of Libett, expect the standard affair: Ron talking about himself, questions about if he always wanted to be a hockey player and his greatest thrill, and how he’s a good man. Ron will be tired and cranky. A blowup with Martin is very possible.

Sima and WPON are lucky to have such a star on their roster.

I agree I am sure he will be complaining on a day like today, that no one wants to work. I wondered what a typical week was for Ron, now that he disclosed his 16 hour days to bring us the shows he does not makes sense.

Ron did not like Martin laughing or smiling or what ever he was doing during his argument with Kurt.

I'm remembering a scant three years ago, when Ron, then a mere 75-year old youth, had to ask Kurt when Memorial Day fell in the calendar year.

It's so like Ron to pivot so quickly, so effortlessly, to 'You didn't fire me, I quit" mode. As if his audience of tens has the memory of a gnat.

Noticing Eric Haase has another start today…”LISTEN TO ME!!!” Ron!!! He’s getting the nod over Jake Rogers!

Ron always says they have a better record when Rogers starts. We need someone to go game by game and figure out their records. Kurt, if you're out there, this is a perfect project for you.

It will be interesting next weekend when Rich Kincaide is on for two hours. Those two always have fun spinning counterfactuals for the various reasons why they couldn't hold different jobs.

From these two links, this looks like the comparative record for games in which each player caught the whole game:

Haase (14-8)
Rogers (10-14)

Feel free to double-check my math.

That doesn't matter! The pitchers love throwing to him! I talked to them in the dressing room!
