If anyone in this forum has access to Chris Illitch or any member of the Illitch family, would he or she please ask them what their impression of Mr. Cameron is. For all Ron's claims of being "idolized" by member(s) of the family, I'd like to hear the Illitch side of the story.

Tigers PR man Colangelo is working 24/7 to keep Ron away from the Ilitch family. He knows his very job depends on it.

I wonder if Ron consulted with the Ilitch family before he opened this business:

Also, it looks like Ron had some awareness of Pokémon before signing up his current comic/collectible sponsors. :)

The address of Knockout Pizza is now a Toarmino's Pizza location (31221 Plymouth Rd, Livonia). I wonder how long Knockout lasted as Ron did his infamous live broadcast from Louie's Pizza on January 4, 2020.

Yeah, I saw that too. I wonder what the average amount of time in operation for his various restaurants is. I would guess about 18 to 24 months.

At least in the years I’ve been listening, I believe the restaurants he has had - all, of course, opened with tremendous hype & expectations - lasted on average between 3-6 months. And much closer to 3 months. I once walked into one close to where I lived & literally saw no one. Not a worker or a customer.

Just Ron at a table signing autographs?

Ron probably pictures himself as a Toots Shore type.

No, no sighting of the Great Man, either. Even though I couldn't seriously hope he would deign to give me an autograph outside of some formal signing session, I was at least hoping I might be able to get some pearl of wisdom.

From the Facebook comments (the main feed and Community), it closed in July or August 2016.

Don't know if this has ever been posted here. From my research, this was Ron's first restaurant. The 9/9/81 photo date is close to when he was fired by WXYZ radio.

A curio from Ron's past is currently available on eBay: The March 1990 issue of Sports Fan Journal. Right now there are no bidders and the opening bid is set at $5.00 with postage/handling of $5.00 as well. https://www.ebay.com/itm/325177731523?V ... 5177731523
This is still out there. I clicked on the original link, and apparently, the item has been relisted twice, I guess because no one has bid on it.

Ron's recent restaurants have failed because they didn't have a Jumbotron.

If (Two Strokes) Terry makes an appearance on Sunday's show, hopefully he plugs his nomination to the MSHOF.
