Ron's going to ask for this Florida caller to grease his palm for giving him Pistons tix back in the day.

It's also quite a drive to Ram's Horn from Downriver. But a free meal's a free meal.

I'm sure Ron's local advertisers are excited by these long-distance callers.

It’s Sunday and that means only one thing-Sportstalk with Ron C

Some pre show questions to ponder

Will Ron update scores every two minutes for those that don’t have a TV or the internet

Will we hear more in-depth stories about his “Hawaiian Buddy”

Will old producer Alex who is scheduled to be on be able to steady the ship without Ron asking for a early preview of the White Sox for next season

These questions and answers more tonight on sports talk!

I'm wondering whether heads - or eyes - rolled at WDTK this week following Ron's pledge to get to the bottom of the phone problems he had last week. Although, with Ron having the attention span of the gnat, it's more likely that Ron didn't give the matter a second thought after the show ended.

As Cowboy will surely point out, today's the 50th anniversary of Chuck Hughes's death at Tiger Stadium. Will Ron respond by saying he never met him ... or that he was one of the last people to speak to him?

Totally forgot about him talking to people at WDTK regarding the phone issues, intriguing night for sure :)

Note that Ron said two hours of "open line" with Alex. The last time Alex was on, also for open line, Ron patted himself on the back for the "good interview."
