I wonder how long Ron can keep doing his show.He is 75 living in a dump.He does not eat healthy.It is only a matter of time before he has some serious health concerns.I feel bad for him.Hope his luck turns around and he wins the lottery.

I remember years ago he would get a free or discounted room in exchange for advertising. I remember the Red Roof Inn in Plymouth Twp (I-275/Ann Arbor Road) was his base for a time. I haven’t heard a hotel advertisement in a long time. Granted, I don’t listen every show, and certainly not for a full two hours.

For as long as I’ve been listening, I’ve never heard him run an ad for a hotel or motel.

I remember a podcast with Denny/Eli/Bob where Denny said that Ron has never paid for a hotel room in his life so I'm guessing its because he works the front desk because I don't hear any advertising.

If he’s working the front desk, shouldn’t he have access to the motel’s internet? Or are these joints too seedy even for that?

It may have been when he was on WDFN, but I clearly remember an ad for that Red Roof Inn. He’s been on so many stations I can’t say which one for sure.

That gave me a good laugh by Martin. I’m glad he’s reading this board and our constructive criticism of the show. We understand your pain dealing with Ron and being berated on the radio. Hang in there. He’s bound to leave for another station soon

Martin, along with the mere “7 callers” you mentioned - at least one of whom is trolling R Sizzle - you surely must be aware that a fair amount of the maybe grand total of 100 listeners are either Board contributors or Board-inspired.
