I thought maybe you were suggesting that Ron's tape-delayed. That perhaps the DuMont network can't deliver his show - taped at the Waldorf-Astoria - to WPON on a live basis.

Remember, Matt came back with him for the first show but was on the phone and then they parted ways. I don’t think Ron is stuck with Martin. I’m assuming Martin works part time. They can’t be paying anything on that radio station

I think I missed when Matt started out with Ron earlier this year. I do remember there being an issue with emails and being able to gain access to the account. I know Martin does a couple other shows at the station but if Ron gets him replaced by Matt then it's probably not worth him sticking around.

R Sizzle needs to lay off the negativity towards the buzzboard. I agree with Momo that Ron's career renaissance is currently due to our efforts

When the inevitable 30 for 30 on his life is produced, I know that the gracious & generous Ron will thank us for all that we've done for him.

Looking back on this thread, I see that when Ron returned this year to WPON, on 2/28, Matt was with him. And Ron was berating him for not emailing his listeners that he was back. "Everyone's got to know."

I'm not sure. Ron's a talker and changes his mind. So anything could happen but Sima makes the decision ultimately and what Martin does currently helps behind the scenes alot. I think Ron needs to be a little more classy about all of this.

I think Ron had it made at the Patriot. He had a toll free number, good weekend time slot, a decent studio with internet/tv, and his shows were recorded on the internet but he messed it up by destroying the bathroom and was viewed a health hazard (as he claims) and got banned from the studio. WPON is a garbage station with a garbage website.

Will Ron ask "Whats the score, who has the ball, what quarter is it, how much time is on the clock, where is the ball at" because nobody has a tv or phone in 2020.

It's one way for him to fill 2 hours. Another way is to dive into box scores or team statistics, prefaced often with "Shall we."
