As always Ron’s sense of time is way off. Usually, he’d say a guest was on a year ago, when it was much longer ago. Or that someone who died years ago, died recently. But the opposite is true of Dick Vitale. He said he was a guest a few years ago, when it was probably last year, when he was on very briefly.

This Maurice guy has to be in his 90's. How do these people find Ron?

He’s only 71! Ron usually tells his older callers that they don’t sound that old. But he didn’t say that to Maurice.

Another story about a vacation with one of his bros. Someone should ask Ron when he took his last vacation.

He said that Alex called him but he couldn't pick up the phone this morning because he was in a meeting. What are these meetings??

When you’re as important as Ron, you take meetings 24/7. Those of us who lead a less high-powered life will never understand.

Thank you, I'm glad I'm negative. I'm supposed to be on next Friday at Noon discussing a mixture of the World Series, the baseball management carousel, Big Ten Football, and the NFL. His meeting this morning was to sell a new ad for the show, which I guess was a success.
