I can't imagine many calls this hour. This is out of Kurt's wheelhouse but I could see Keith in Oak Park calling.

Ron’s “so-called friends” who are GMs? Was that an instance of unintentional honesty? Like when he conceded his great buddy Terry Collins “would know me if he saw me”?

Yes, he had to bring Gordie up. Always keeping current, our Ron.

Yes, this guy he’s talking about really dropped Ron’s name to Janet Gretzky.

I wish one of these guests would say ‘same as I told you before.’

I'm disappointed my question about the World Series ring didn't get asked. Come on Martin

Well, you know that it had to be a deliberate call because it didn't get lost in a flurry of emails.

If he ever opens up his restaurant, he'll think the show promoting it is enough advertising. This is not 1980

Ron needs to have a grand opening with a live remote and all the cast of characters that participate in the show. Perhaps he could have a giveaway with the Ron "Superfan" poster (name of the restaurant on it) and have a conga line of characters sign autographs at the grand opening.

Heck you could even have a meet and greet with the famous Buzzboard posters.

Somebody needs to ask him what the name of the imaginary new restaurant is. My guesses are

Homerun Deli, Grand Slam Subs, or dugout pizza

Brilliant idea! Ron could really goose up business for the grand opening of his new 5-starred Michelin restaurant by bringing in his regular callers/emailers/producers/screeners through the years. Cowboy, Kurt, Mr. Positive, Gutterball Tony, JJ, stuttering John, Ken from Livonia, Chuck from Belleville, the Warren boys, Alex, Matt, Luke, Martin, the insurance company callers. Who here would pass up the chance to put a face to all these voices/names?!
