Not much details, just the verification that they will be coming soon.
Just a new ATSC turner needed, which of course is probably going to be expensive to start.
Acceptable registrations in the queue through May 6 at 7:00p ET have now been activated. Enjoy! -M.W.

Initially these two stations will deliver ATSC 3.0. I don't know if there are others in Michigan at this time.

Re: ATSC 3.0 In Michigan
will the 3.0 tuner need to be connected to the internet to be used or will OTA suffice???
Also will you be able to still watch what 1.0 channels are being offered even though a channel hasn't converted to 3.0???
Just wondering...…...

Hey, T-Mobile should be buying me an ATSC box for my TV OTA since they bought-up all that juicy 600MHz TV spectrum; hogs.

I wonder if Scripps will put WMYD on XYZ's transmitter sharing the same transmitter, which they can still do with MYD still tuned as 20.1.SixPlusOne wrote: ↑Mon Jan 13, 2020 5:05 pmInitially these two stations will deliver ATSC 3.0. I don't know if there are others in Michigan at this time.

On the other hand, some subchannels could be cut.

Wow, the production value of that video was really shitty.. Got to admire all the corporate bullshit buzz terms, though. After 10 minutes, I stopped watching/listening. Perhaps this was addressed during the remaining time of the video, but how are local station markets going to be enforced? If it's by IP address, a cheap VPN service would enable viewing of stations from nearly everywhere.
