RetroTV changes in the works?

Post by SolarMax » Thu Oct 17, 2019 11:54 pm

Earlier today I went to "myretrotv.com" to see if I could find what actual movie was being aired on RetroTV, WHNE 14.7, as the film did not match in any way what the EPG or TitanTV listing showed.
The retroTV site was Not Available, it turned out, for many hours.
Later this evening, the RetroTV home page, back online, now just says:
"Big things are on the horizon. Stay tuned.
A whole new Retro TV experience is headed your way soon!"
No other tabs or links on the page. Hopefully they are going to slicken up look of the site and of the channel.
No word about any of this on WHNE's Facebook page as yet, either.

I hope it is good changes, but they have been on a slow decline for a long time. About the only thing left I watch is the occasional Dr Who when nothing else is on, or maybe a late night horror movie. The last few years it has become Retro(Canadian)TV.

...they have been on a slow decline for a long time.
That's due to a number of new competitors launching within the past decade stealing away the rights to major shows that were once held by Retro TV.

My furthest DTV tropo: KDKA Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at 202 miles for three days in January 2017 and a night in September 2017 with only an Antennas Direct C2V!

Current setup: Antennas Direct C2Max (2018-present)

Some of their programming has abysmal picture quality, and it’s not just WHNE’s feed. They need cleaner prints.

The myretrotv website was offline, and has since been void of information. Hasn't been interruption of on-air programming.
