93.9 station "skip".
Re: 93.9 station "skip".
Could a small amateur FM transmitter in another vehicle near you be the culprit? Would explain why it was only a minute. Depending on the frequency they transmitted on, that could jam out 93.9 and transmit music via CD player, phone, etc. They are only half a watt, but if near enough, can be noticed. If at a light, that would extend the time you heard this.

It was occurring from Normandy to 13 Mile. I guess thats a good hotspot for whatever reason.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Sun Jul 21, 2019 7:18 amTX stations are heard in Michigan regularly during e-skip.
I still think Lima cannot be ruled out. Ohio stations have been booming into Detroit periodically over the past few days. I was picking up 103.7 from Tiffin with city grade strength last night around Midnight. It was actually coming in much more strongly than WIOT. Full quieting, stereo signal on a Sony clock radio.
I live near 14 Mile and Woodward by the Royal Oak and Birmingham border.
