In some cities, it still is acceptable. Chicago's "ABC 7" as well as WGN-TV have Cubs games every week. New York's WPIX still has Yankees and Mets games almost every week. Detroit only seems to have Lions preseason games and the Tigers opening day game, both on WJBK Fox 2.
