Back when Jason Carr was still with Fox 2, the Nine had a featured guest DJ on Fridays (I can't remember if this feature had a name - it wasn't a contest). You could tweet, email or send a play list of 10-15 songs via Facebook, and you might get featured and your songs played if your name was selected. It was fun to hear the eclectic tastes of Fox 2 viewers. The daily songs of the day are usually not on my radar, but it's interesting to hear what others are listening to. I guess in a way, I'm saying this isn't a new concept for Fox 2 but maybe a re-visitation (albeit shorter version) of an old one.
