She's good doing the restaurant beat, etc. Highly watchable. She's no Walter Cronkite, or expected to be.
Uh, I think saying "she's no Walter Cronkite" is a bit much. I think it's more like "she's no Ron Burgandy"

:lol

Telly is a joke between my husband and I. It's become habit to use it in place of the word television.

Kojak was my dad's favorite tv show.

Although, I did find this bit of info

telly noun
tel·ly | \ ˈte-lē \
plural tellys also tellies
Definition of telly
chiefly British
: TELEVISION

Perhaps a parrot should anchor the Detroit and Windsor news ,though candidly our news anchors aren't bimbos and himbos,but more professional reporters .

Andrea Isom and Jeanine Pirro both suffer from what Will Ferrell demonstrated as "Voice Immodulation Syndrome"

Speaking of bad reporting, who can forget this abomination. It’s in Hell, MI, and it froze over.

Get it? “Hell freezing over!” Eh! Eh! Hardy har har!!!

<insert nats of knee slap>

Oh, and “go to Hell” is used too. Too much.

But it’s funny, right? Get it? Hell and hell? GET IT?!
