Is the Breeze going Urban AC or is Entercom's last played system screwed up? I didn't listen today but it says they played the following songs . . .

Hypnotize - Notorious BIG
Kiss, Kiss - Chris Brown & T-Pain
Single Ladies - Beyonce
808 - Blaque
Put It On Me - Ja Rule
Doo Wop (That Thing) - Lauren Hill

I didn't know Hypnotize fell under the "relaxing favorites at work" banner.

The playlist is combining the HD2 and HD3 stations with the main.
I do not know why

In the past 2 weeks, these amazing artists have completely vanished from the station again. Why Ian???

Eagles, Air Supply, Jackson Browne, Genesis.
And Fleetwood Mac is down to only 1 song.

Because Ian is not experienced in A/C or Soft Rock formats, And it shows.

Yeah, I noticed that 3 months ago.

Can't they hire a real program director?

It's almost 5 months in and they are running this like a high school radio station.

EDIT:
Ratings come out in an hour.
Let's see how much further Ian has dug this grave.

This station is and will continue to be on life support until Entercom flips it or sells it, They had a chance to be Wheels back in November but blew it.

All they have to do is get an actual program director that understands the format.
This format is booming.
98.7 isn't.
The reason is... all the other soft ac stations actually sound good!

It could be to late, The listener that liked them two months ago went somewhere else and won’t return.

98.7 had an OK ratings period in February. 3.6 in ages 6+. Would love to know how they fared in P25 to 54.

WOMC is still lower than they once were, and WNIC has been barely fazed.

WCSX continues to post near record high numbers, and WWJ had another great month as well.

105.9 Kiss is getting its clock cleaned by Mix 92.3 and The Bounce.

DRQ (Gnash) recorded its worst showing in probably 3+ years and has lost AQH share hand over fist within the last 90 days. I think the AC stations are continuing to steal share from the country stations. I also think shifting Dave Fuller from 93.1 to 96.3 really hurt Gnash.

I think Sean Baligian would be an excellent replacement for Dave Fuller on GNASH. It is time to flip it to sports and move the Lions + Michigan State to the FM side of the dial.

That's a good recipe for a 1.5 - 1.8 share, exactly where 93.1 sits today.

Hey Ian,
How about "Walking On Broken Glass" by Annie Lennox, and "I Just Wanna Stop" by Gino Vannelli?
