Just saw this guy wandering around aimlessly at a local big-box bookstore. Totally creepy looking and acting: greasy and unkempt, mumbling. Strangely, I listen to his podcasts every once in a while to see what dinosaurs he can unearth, and which unsuspecting businesses he has swindled for his "live ad reads". Sometimes, he has some good guests on, and he sounds like he's only "normal" with a mic in front of him! This guy is a world-class trip (not in a good way).

I'm confused - are you describing Cameron or Dan Leach (of WXYT-FM fame) ? :horns

Jackie Green is single-handedly ruining WLAV!

You can hear Ron Cameron on 1400-AM Sundays from 4 - 6 pm. His show hasn't changed in 40 years. Neither have the guests.

Why would any of this be newsworthy? He hasn't been relative since the 70's.

Cameron is obviously a BIG deal because some of you nitwits spend an awful lot of time talking about him.

I'll tell you what that show certainly misses Alex. That Matt is totally clueless I don't know if he is doing the show for a school project or something, he will not keep Ron on Track, misses opportunities to remind Ron of the questions that the callers/emailers have asked, he's like a robot. As far as the callers, JJ from Lincoln Park is good, Kurt from Fraser good, Cowboy from Windsor is a complete buffoon. Usually at least once every couple weeks you can count on Cowboy to bring race up into his discussion or a combination of politics and race as well. His takes on death dates are completely ridiculous. I think Ron finds Cowboy like a clown as well but when you don't have many people calling into the show you have to entertain yourself somehow.

Matt,to be fair,is likely a skateboard brat looking to break into the business . Mr. Transistor,If Cowboy is a clown, those of you who constantly focus on him are MORONS. It's just that like most dull-normal white folk, you can't handle a brainy black man who challenges and refutes your putrid racial biases. I understand Cowboy has called talk shows since he was a lad in the mid-sixties, and is regarded one of the best and brightest talk show callers with incisive commentaries, unlike most barely literate callers to such shows .

Again you prove your buffoonery and your racist attitudes with your words etched into the cyberworld. Funny thing is Cowboy I am not even"white" but go ahead prejudge me with your racist views. I am looking forward to a few laughs with your ridiculous takes on Ron's show. See you Saturday at 5pm brainy :lol

Mr. Transistor (how the freak old are you, anyway ? TRANSISTOR????? People had transistors in the sixties ), to quote the late, great Dr. Martin Luther King,Jr. (who'd have been 90 Tuesday,Jan. 15) ,I judge people on the content of their character, not their colour, race, creed, sexual orientation, sex, etc. (With a couple of exceptions,my buddies are white men .)
Too bad the same can't be said for your perhaps treasonous white nationalist/supremacist President, racist, religious crackpot Vice President, and far too many people OF ALL PERSUASIONS on both sides of the border. Calling out racism is NOT THE SAME AS RACISM,though it's unlikely most of you folk can or want to realize false equivalencies such as the above one. And,since I'm a Ron Cameron show listener,Ron and Cowboy don't always agree, but they respect each other.

O.K. Mr. T.,but why don't YOU call and,if nothing else, wish Ron a Happy Birthday Saturday and a complete recovery from his recent brain operation ?

I only listen to Ron on PodBean so it’s always old news, but what is brutal is listening to him give “scores” and “live play-by-play” of games going on while he’s on the air! Not sure if Ron realizes that people have smartphones for that now!
