The reviews are rolling in for Hello Everybody!, the satirical musical comedy about Detroit sports talk legend Ron Cameron that recently opened on Broadway.

Here is a collection of quotations that have been carefully curated by the publicity team for the show, as they take a break from their anonymous duties maintaining Ron's Twitter feed. The highlighted text will be used in display advertising.
  • "You'd have to be A VERY desperate person to spend GOOD money on this SHOW!" - New York Times
  • "An AWESOMELY AMAZING waste of time!" - New York Daily News
  • "EVERYTHING YOU'D EVER WANT TO SEE in a train wreck!" - New York Post
  • "I COULDN'T BELIEVE THE INCREDIBLE lack of QUALITY IN THIS SHOW!" - Newsday
  • "The only bigger fool than RON CAMERON IS the person who thinks that this show is about A GREAT RADIO STAR!" - Brooklyn Daily Eagle
  • "A very embarrassing SHOW that will make you run FOR THE exit with a word-of-mouth message of warning for your friends and your WHOLE FAMILY!" - Detroit News
  • "YOU'LL CLAP YOUR HANDS over your eyes and ears AT THE wretched ACTING AND SINGING!" - Detroit Free Press
  • "A MAGNIFICENT TRIBUTE TO THE FIRST SPORTS TALK RADIO HOST IN DETROIT AND THE LONGEST RUNNING RADIO TALK SHOW HOST IN BROADCASTING HISTORY!" - Sport Fans' Journal (Still going strong!)
We should never have opened directly on Broadway, Bobbert. Oh well, after a rewrite to somehow make Ron a more sympathetic protagonist, with a redemptive arc, along with some new songs from the Brill Building, we can relaunch this off-off Broadway. Like maybe in Allen Park.
In our rewrite, I'm thinking we might need to emphasize how Ron singlehandedly saved Catholic League baseball, ending the production with this boy's choir:

Well hello everyone

Welcome to you morning preview show for the longest running sports talk radio show in the world

Please feel free to add your thoughts and ideas :)

Guest host scheduled for tonight Rich Kincaid-All three hours possibly. As Ron will tell you his first appearance on his show since the unfortunate death of his wife. I hope ron can be respectful on this.

Ron tends to look at this as a history marker for his show as he has repeatedly said how this was one of Mr Kincaid last things before his wife passed, again Ron be classy

Temps outside are rising, the guests should be rolling in. I am sure we will get updates for guests who may or may not know they will be on the show

No cowboy last week will he appear this week. Or has our other Windsor affiliate caller taken the Barton and continue with his unique perspectives that he brings

Will Ron have inside info for the wings coaching search straight from the man who idolizes him according to Ron-Chris illitch

Will Ron continue to gloss over the Buzzboard and the social media impact it plays on his show

These stories and probably not much more :) Tonight on sportstalk!

radiofan1974, Ron cannot help but to be classy. It's in his DNA.

Actually, I'm waiting for Ron to confuse Rich with Terry, so that Rich is the one with 2 strokes (& the fear that he had another), & Terry's the one who lost his wife after being on Ron's weekly spectacular.

A Ron "favorite," Bea Arthur, was born 100 years ago today.

Mr. Positive, if you have the chance, could you ask Ron how he commemorated this event? Thanks.

Who will make the most cringe-worthy comment by injecting themselves into discussions of Rich Kincaide's recent loss—Ron (by talking about Cory Lidle) or Cowboy?

Will Ron and Rich combine their extensive knowledge of hockey to get to the bottom of the Urinate-Gate scandal with the Detroit Red Wings and Al Sobotka?

Will Kurt follow up with his threat, er, promise that he will list the best baseball players in history whose last name started with B?

Will Ron have his Internet consultant drive up the price of the eBay copy of Sport Fan's Journal, to help establish a higher market price for the copies that Ron plans to unload on C's Cards & Collectibles?

Exactly how much time do we think Ron devoted this past week to thinking about the possibilities? I'll start the bidding with zero seconds.

The only consolation I'm taking is that we cannot possibly have 25 more weeks of this. Kurt will have to combine certain letters, e.g., X, Y & Z. Won't he?!?!

I guess Ron does not subscribe to the PT Barnum statement that there is no such thing as bad publicity

Perhaps a caller might ask Ron if there was a production about his life, who he thinks should play the lead role.

Time for a casting call. What roles in this saga need to be cast?
Bob Page, Denny, Ray Scott, George Blaha. Random business owner/advertiser.
Of course Ron would think it should be a one man play.

Too bad Shirley Booth is dead. I can see her as the ubiquitous absent minded maid throwing away those so important scraps of paper with the prospective guests phone numbers Ron has laying around his pig sty of a motel room.

Ron's too busy patting himself on the back over his NBA picks that he doesn't seem to know that his Utah Jazz are "long gone."
