Mr. Positive seems to have taken the 1st caller role that used to be reserved for the MIA Cowboy & JJ.

What about Ron’s mention during each show that he may have COVID and how he was sick for a night but he hasn’t been tested yet. Totally ridiculous

Yes, Ron the professional victim. I remember a few years ago when he couldn’t help but repeatedly say that his condition was “touch and go” in the aftermath of a minor traffic accident.

I was listening to this as well, amazed that Ron was inferring that his “upset stomach” (possibly from over-eating at one of his sponsors) was the onset of COVID!!!

During the podcast the other day, Denny mentioned that Ron hasn't paid for a meal or a motel stay ever, does Ron work in the motel? How else could he stay for free

Ron was too busy to pick up a newspaper?! He’s got some serious time management issues.

I had family in the restaurant business over the years and its very tough/hard work. Now add a pandemic and Ron being 75 years old and this sounds like a complete disaster.

Ron's been talking about getting a new restaurant for so long now. Particularly in this environment, I'm not holding my breath.

Who do we believe Ron or Bob Page, the Yvonne DeCarlo lover (!!), on the story about Ron's mother purportedly throwing him out at 15? I'm with Bob, who must be relying on what Ron told him. Of course, Ron's such a pathological liar he may well have passed on an untrue story to Bob.

We know baseball's back because Ron's resumed bashing Dan Dickerson. I would love to know the source of Ron's animus. If only Dan would call him buddy, like Kirk Gibson, Ron might have something nice to say about him. And why is Ron even listening to the radio broadcast? In the past, he would claim the only time he would listen was when he was leaving the ballpark, on the way home.

I bet Ron is listening because he's on the way home from getting his free meal. I see he has a couple new sponsors this week.

How could Joe Torre not know how close Ron & Cory Lidle were?!

His producer gives him an opening to talk about Al Kaline, whom the Tigers are honoring this year with a memorial number 6 patch on their jerseys. What is Ron's response? Another story about Cory Lidle.

Ron went to Lidle's funeral? When his best friend Ernie Harwell died Ron didn't go to his funeral, saying he doesn't go to funerals. Same with Gordie Howe, who, per Ron, recognized almost nobody other than Ron at the end of his life.
