Channel 7 provides fake traffic detour to avoid WB M-59 accident
Re: Channel 7 provides fake traffic detour to avoid WB M-59 accident
You do have to admit- with the right vehicle and conditions that would be a fun detour!

For sure!
Morgan Wallen is a piece of garbage.

What if somebody thought one name, put another down by mistake and off it went? That’s a mistake. Fake news is intentionally dispensing bullshit as fact. I can’t see that here…MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 6:47 amI disagree. Failure to do proper due diligence is tantamount to dispensing fake news.
This was carelessness, not a simple mistake.
If the only error were the misspelling of Dobry, then I'd agree with you.
Haven’t you ever had a conversation and said the wrong name by mistake for a road or town or something and it went uncorrected?

I'm not a news organization.
My guess is someone came up with a detour in hurried fashion without verifying its accuracy.

Fair enough. But I’m saying the same sorts of things happen with people when they are working and this kind of thing is the inevitable result.MWmetalhead wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 10:26 amI'm not a news organization.

I still want to know why anyone would rely on them for traffic information beyond where a crash is. We have so many other better ways of getting that information.

Lower your expectations. It’s WXYZ.
They are in a battle with CBS for worst morning newscasts.
Living off of legacy rather than making moves.

I get your points but not everyone uses computers and smartphones. My mother has never used either and never will though she is a circle seven diehard for decades. Your point about WWJ while driving is fair.

You come up with lame excuses for everything. What do you want management to do, give them a participation trophy? After all, it's so unfair that they are incapable of reading a map. Or knowing area roads.Rate This wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 10:21 amWhat if somebody thought one name, put another down by mistake and off it went? That’s a mistake. Nobody said it was unfair to know how to read a map or know the roads. But in case you hadn’t noticed these are humans and humans are less than perfect. Go look in a mirror sometime for a shining example.Colonel Flagg wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2024 3:06 pmYou come up with lame excuses for everything. At risk of being gauche… there will come a point where that number will be infinitely small and I don’t know which dies first… those older folks or the local newscast airing traffic reports every 10 or so minutes. How large is that group relying on it at this point?

Side note; I despise the stupid roundabouts at Auburn and Dequindre. Useless pieces of shit.
They/them, non-binary and proud.
Remember that “2000 Mules” was concocted by a circus of elephants.
The right needs to stop worry about what’s between people’s legs. Instead, they should focus on what’s between their ears.
Audacity sucks.

I agree. The other day I was on Tienken Road in Rochester and traveled through 3 stupid roundabouts between Dequindre and Rochester Road.MotorCityRadioFreak wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2024 9:58 pmSide note; I despise the stupid roundabouts at Auburn and Dequindre. Useless pieces of shit.

There are so many of those damn things in both Rochester Hills and West Bloomfield.
