When Diana Ross's star eclipsed Mary Wilson & Florence Ballard, The Supremes became known as Diana Ross and The Supremes. When her stardom only continued to grow, Miss Ross went solo. It's been apparent for some time that - at least unofficially - The Buzzboard has become Ron Cameron and The Buzzboard. But it may be time now for the Ron Cameron thread to go solo.

But fear not, Matt (or "Mary Wilson"), there is still the promise of great things ahead for the Ron Cameron-less Buzzboard.

• A few weeks later, Elvis Presley's famous comeback TV special in December 1968

• The "Ol Blue Eyes is Back" comeback by Frank Sinatra in 1973

Yeah, the hamster wheel will be booming out the five watt matchstick signal out for a couple of square blocks. Ratings should be through the roof today. All of the media outlets are probably setting up outside Broadcast Shack for the big show. This may top Caesar’s triumphant return to Rome. Has John Williams prepared a new fanfare for this monumental event?
