The weekend routine has been a bit off with Ron of the air. I am sure these would be “interesting times” as Ron would say.

Wings on a playoff run, signing Patrick Kane-wonder what he would of that signing

The Pistons-ugh, Cade Cunningham would be hearing it from Ron

Tigers-combero and his advising

Lions-look out for the other teams

Michigan-Gosh, miss this the most, what would he say..:…
Would love to hear Ron's Scott Harris rant after the signing of a 35-year-old pitcher who went 6-8 last year (Kenta Maeda).

Well there was just a update that “Sportstalk” has been postponed until further notice due to knee surgery
Wonder if Ron is putting any effort in to his biography? This is the perfect time to do it. He could easily get started by talking in to a voice recorder when he feels energetic enough. Then later he could work with somebody to piece it together.

A bummer for Ron being on the DL, one of his favorites AJ Hinch it appears has been given a contract extension, years not announced but discussed that will be under contract for some time

Ron's working on his first page. His opening line is, "I was born in the house my father built."

Surely radiofann has lived a sheltered life. The exhortations bestowed upon Captain Cameron here on Buzzboard are so richly deserved. A true sports media giant is being sorely missed by all. Valenti and Smilovitz may try. And "Cap" Caputo comes close. But none compare to The Ronnie.
Life is not a dress rehearsal. This is it. There's no going back, and we can only go forward before we run out of runway.

Good to hear Mr Positive call in today on 97.1 he used his real name. In his story he talked about his twin. In an ode to his Mr Positive persona, Stoney at the end of his call asked if his twin brother was…..negative-joke drum roll please

That's clever. Hope the long-time callers have had luck filling the Ron void in their lives. Since Ron's surgery, we've still been able to generate more than 10 pages of material.

Norman Lear, the producer of Maude and many other famous TV shows, has died.

One less person who knows whether Ron's theory about Bea Arthur's gender is true.

I agree about Caputo. His gruff, old school delivery reminds me of Ron. He's also been the target of some mockery, which gives him something else in common with Ron.

I like listening to Pat Caputo. One thing that stands out with him is he can talk about anything right off the cuff.

Many of 97.1's jocks start their show with a script. They have researched what they are going to cover during the show. When a caller ask a sports question that isn't on today's bullet point list, it befuddles them. You can hear the "uh uh uh" while they're trying to come up with a response.

97.1 should shitcan the Spartards in the afternoon and play classic Ron Cameron shows instead.

Heard this on my ride into work this morning. Stoney and John were playing along with him. I got a good chuckle out of it.
