Has Mr. Positive been heard on any other station since Ron’s been on hiatus? Has Kurt been on 97.1? Are they both OK?
I've been monitoring MLB Trade Rumors for any sign of Kurt (the Hurt), but nothing so far.

We've all heard the many versions of what Ron was doing on November 22, 1963.
Yes, November 22, 1963, when we all turn to Ron for his heartfelt reminiscences.

Mr. P and Kurt could both be in rehab going through withdrawal. They need an airwave fix.

I did this past week, went by his name and not Mr P

Probably because Stoney immediately dumped his call not long ago when he came on as his alter ego.

The late, great Willie Hernandez earned many rewards for his outstanding season in 1984, including:
  • MVP award
  • Cy Young award
  • World Series championship
...and...
  • An appearance on Sports View Today with Ron Cameron and Bob Page
Detroit Free Press (November 2, 1984)

Would have been a great question for Ron on what he remembered about Willie Hernandez

Hernandez, Terry Dischinger, Frank Howard, Bobby Knight, & Jumpin’ Johnny Green have all passed away without comment from Ron. Dischinger, Howard & Green were oft-mentioned by Ron, who could devote an entire show just to his memories of these individuals.

Don't forget Ron could devote a whole show to the '61 Tigers.

Too bad Ron won’t be on tomorrow. I could imagine his analysis now:

Lions aren’t very good after all/ Lions pooped in their pants yesterday

And the upcoming Michigan game:

Ohio State will crush em/ Michigan played cupcakes with no frosting/ Harbaugh is a cheater/ he still owes me ten dinners

Happy thanksgiving to all the minions :) with this being a holiday it’s a bummer we won’t get the special holiday edition shows we so look forward to

Get well Ron!
Yes, Happy Thanksgiving to all of us bereft at the, hopefully, temporary absence of Ron in our lives. And maybe we'll still get Ron's annual Christmas spectacular with the King Family, the Osmonds, Bing & his young kids from his second marriage (never the abandoned boys from the first), Claudine Longet &, of course, the entire Cameron family to brighten the holiday season.
At the end of the Christmas special, Lawrence Welk hands out toys to all of Ron's "children"—young athletes who have received unsolicited advice from Ron.

It's Beginning to Sound a Lot Like Cameron

(It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas)

It's beginning to sound a lot like Cameron
On the radio
Take a listen to 'P-O-N, it's Martin and Ron again
With lots of topics, Ron will not discuss

It's beginning to sound a lot like Cameron
On the radio
And the thing that will make you sad, is Ron Cameron reading ads
For most of the show

A pair of free agent stars, that cost millions of bucks
Is the wish, of Kurt from Fraser
A telephone line, that is labeled toll free
Is the hope, of Windsor's Cowboy
And Mr. P. can hardly wait to tease Ron once again!

It's beginning to sound a lot like Cameron
On the radio
There's a flaw in the audio, one in the mic as well
The kind of things that make Ron scream and yell

It's beginning to sound a lot like Cameron
Soon the calls will start
And the thing that they must avoid, that makes Ron so annoyed
Are bad umpire calls

It's beginning to sound a lot like Cameron
Buzzboard chiming in
And the craziest words exhaled are Ron Cameron's many tales
From his flawed mem'ry

Sure, it's Cameron once more

The Christmas season has officially begun with another new holiday standard from Bobbert. I wonder who among the guests on Ron’s spectacular will give voice to it?

Maybe Vanessa Carr, who helped kick off the 2016 Christmas season with this memorable video:
