Re: Ron Cameron
An "Encore" broadcast of Ron occurred last year on WDTK. Apparently Mr. Cameron wasn't available at the scheduled start of his show on December 18, 2022, so the broadcast began with a recording of the second hour of the December 11, 2022 transmission. Approximately 32 minutes into the hour, Ron went live. If only WPON would record their broadcasts for podcasts.
Re: Ron Cameron
This cartoon reminded me of what happens every time Ron tries to contact Denny McLain for an interview.

Can't wait for Ron and Kurt's takes on the Mark Canha trade.

Re: Ron Cameron
On Friday, I was listening, somewhat not intently, when I heard Ron kinda “free styling”/fresh associating through an ad. I’m pretty sure he was shuffling through his “notes”, and was saying the advertiser was “quite a place” and “you really gotta go there”, though he couldn’t quite come up with the name/location/type of business/hours, etc. I’m thinking the “old pro” was thinking he could jog his memory and come up with the advertiser, but it never came to him. Definitely a rough patch for Scoop The Ad Salesman.

Re: Ron Cameron
Will we get an update if this will be his last episode for a while?
Will sima stop in and offer Ron a deal he can’t refuse?

Maybe that was a "quiz" question: Name that advertiser!uncleb67 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 8:33 amOn Friday, I was listening, somewhat not intently, when I heard Ron kinda “free styling”/fresh associating through an ad. It also appears that some of the places he works for ads with have moved on?uncleb67 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 8:33 amOn Friday, I was listening, somewhat not intently, when I heard Ron kinda “free styling”/fresh associating through an ad. Re: Ron Cameron
I wonder what Ron’s thoughts are on Ohio state's win over a very tough Rutgers team yesterday, is Ohio state “gut full” after that win
Re: Ron Cameron
Mr. Positive, could you please ask Ron to comment on the recent deaths of Terry Dischinger, Frank Howard & Bobby Knight?
And more importantly, can you please also ask Ron to communicate with Martin following his 'Monday cardiologist appointment' so his "fans" can know whether surgery's a go for next Friday. And if it is, to update Martin on when he'll be returning to the airwaves.

Truly, one of the constants in all the years of SportsTalk: advertisers moving on…except for the select few.radiofan1974 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 8:41 amIt also appears that some of the places he works for ads with have moved on?uncleb67 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2023 8:33 amOn Friday, I was listening, somewhat not intently, when I heard Ron kinda “free styling”/fresh associating through an ad.
